Meet Freddy
Just one story out of many
Freddy was a senior dog rescued in rough shape — he could barely use his back legs. With months of love and rehab, he regained full mobility and was thriving. Though senior dogs are often overlooked, Freddy always had a home with us and all the love he deserved.
In late April, his face suddenly swelled. We rushed him to the ER; after treatment he seemed better, but by morning he rapidly declined. Multiple visits and tests brought no answers — only worsening pain. When the day came to say goodbye, it unexpectedly rained, and we took it as a sign to give him a bucket-list week: the beach, a huge picnic, and one last sunset stroll through the poppy fields.
That night, I officially adopted him — every dog deserves to leave this world as someone’s dog. We spent our last night together watching movies and eating treats.

Paralyzed from the Waist-Down
Paralyzed and incontinent, Penelope had no feeling in her back legs. Amputation was being considered—until one day, Tye noticed her trying to move them. With patience and training, she began to regain strength. Today, Penelope—now lovingly named Lupe—has been adopted by an incredible owner who’s continued her journey with years of dedicated physical therapy. She can now use her legs to hold herself up, a living reminder that determination and compassion can create miracles.
Living With Fungus, No More!
When Gary arrived, his skin was raw, painful, and covered in severe mange. With time, care, and the help of Boss Farms’ very own product line, his coat began to heal and shine again. Now fully recovered, Gary lives happily in the hills of Los Angeles with a wonderful family who adores him. His transformation is a testament to what healing and love can do.
Homeless Dog + 3 Pups
Althea was found on a cold, rainy day—curled up in a bush, protecting her three newborn puppies. Despite everything, she came willingly, calm and trusting, devoted to her little ones. After hearing her story, we knew she belonged with us.For a year, Althea waited patiently for someone to see her the way we did. That someone turned out to be one of our own—our video editor—who gave her the loving home she’d been waiting for. Her story reminds us that sometimes, family finds you.
Mama Lucy
Originally named Sandy, Lucy was found tied up in a backyard after her owners moved out—alone and forgotten. When we brought her to the vet for a checkup, we discovered she was pregnant with eight puppies. Every single one, including Lucy, found a loving family. One of her pups even joined the LA Sheriff’s Department. From abandonment to purpose, Lucy’s story is pure resilience and hope.
